AMAC Programs: AMAC programs comprise many projects that enable the organizaton accomplish set objectives. As provided in the mission statement, the pograms are based on a vision to diversify Canadian content by moving African music into the mainstream. This allows for the diversity needed to reflect the true Canadian cultural mosaic. By increasing the opportunities available for the inclusion of African music, a lasting contribution can be made to the music industry in Canada. AMAC programs are categorized into two major projects: 1. Local and Community - Level projects. 2. National and International - Level projects. N.B. During the last Annual General Meeting, it was agreed that the Head 0ffice of AMAC be based in Toronto, Ontario - Canada. |
